Consumer advisory: review the public record

CARFAX · Undated · Severity 2/5

false vehicle listing / bait-switch advertising

A vehicle claimed to be sold remained listed at an artificially low price for weeks despite customer complaints and dealer assurances of removal, suggesting the dealership was using the ad as a lead-generation tool.

Key public-record excerpts

the dealer told me that the vehicle was sold but it is still advertised 3 weeks later
they apologized and stated that they were in the process of removing it from the listings but it is still there even as I checked this morning
I believe they might be leaving it on as a lead draw due to the listed price.(about 2K cheaper than everybody else)
