Where do I begin. This could be the worst shopping experience for anything that I have ever experienced. I found a car they had listed online that I was interested in for my business. I met with the sales person Doug who seemed fine. I ended up purchasing the car with the promise that they could deliver it to me in Newport the following Monday and they would take car of registering the car. Monday came and went and the sales person told me that because of the holiday week it could not be delivered until Friday. I was less than happy about this but let it go. Friday comes and I get yet another phone call pushing off delivery due to low staffing at the dealership. After several phone calls I got them to begrudgingly agree to deliver it. Now the registration... I have residency in two states here in Rhode Island and also in Colorado 6 months in each. When they went to register the car they kept telling me that they couldn't because I have a Colorado drivers license and in order to register it I would have to get a Rhode Island driver's license. However I have 5 other vehicles registered to my business that were all registered with the same CO license?? So after many phone calls and arguing I told them I would just take care of it myself. So I go to the DMV fill out all the paperwork everything is in order including my CO license all I need is the title which they had because they were going to register it. They never sent it to me. When I inquired about it to their title department Johanna told the sales person that she would not release the title to me because I didn't have an RI driver's license, which I am fairly sure is not their place and or legal. So now I have a car with expired temp tags that I am paying for but can not drive. I have had to involve my attorney as a result. To sum it up...I would rather crawl over broken glass on my hands and knees before buying anything from this dealership. If you were able to rate a business with negative stars I would. As a side note this is the first time I have ever been compelled to write a negative review usually they are positive.
