I bought a used Ford Focus from Tasca Ford in Seekonk on November 1st 2014. I got a fair deal on the car but I had to go through all the typical used car crap before hand. I probably wouldn't have bought the car if my wife hadn't been so in love with the vehicle. We picked the car up about 1 week later. A few days after we picked it up, we noticed there where no floor mats in the entire vehicle. We called the dealership but got no response. We also had problems with the cars transmission but I don't blame that on the dealership. They also took care of this at no cost to us except for the inconvenience of having to bring the car back 3 times. I never got the floor mats from tasca so I just bought my wife a set off amazon. I recommend doing your own financing with a local credit union or AAA. The financing I got thru Tasca was terrible. they got me a loan @4.5%. 1 week later I refinanced through RICU at 1.4%. I also had some issues with GAP insurance cancellation. I was trying to find out who or how I got reimbursed for this after I cancelled it when I refinanced. What a headache! After speaking with Benny at Tasca Ford in Seekonk he called Ann in accounting to try and get some answers. We spoke with a very grumpy and less then personable Ann for a short time and after a little run around she agreed that Tasca owed me a $850.00 rebate. She said they would drop it in the mail within a few days. A month later and several unreturned phone calls, I went to the dealer this morning to find out where my check was. After waiting almost an hour for Benny, I spoke with him about this issue and he did agree with me that something was not right. We sat down and called Ann back. Ann was very upset to hear from us again about this issue because according to her this was explained to "the kid" (That's how Ann referred to me) that this was all taken care of and that the original lean holder was reimbursed, not myself. She kept reiterating over and over that this was explained to "the kid" previously. I never had any such conversation with anyone at Tasca Ford in Seekonk. As a matter of fact the last conversation I had was with Ann & Benny where she said she was writing me a check. Later in the day I called the original lean holder and talked with them for a while and got everything straightened out. Bottom line they are basically a used car lot with the same mentality. Financing is sketchy at best and there service and follow up leave a lot to be desired. I will never buy a car from them again. I certainly don't need that headache ever again. This could have been a much different review if there customer service was half of what they promise it to be.
