Brought my f350 pickup to Tasca in Seekonk to get some work done to the front wheels. Drivers side tire was making noise and the steering wheel pulled hard to the right. Got a call saying that it was the driver side caliper which was broken and in order to fix the problem it required caliper, rotors and brakes on both wheels. Sales man at the service counter told me two prices $580 and $761. $761 was supposedly going to fix the hard pull to the right and $580 he couldn't guarantee it would fix the pull. So I went with what I thought was a sure thing. I picked my truck up the next day and it still pulled hard to the right. Worse than it did when I dropped it off I didnt have time to head back due to appointments I had to attend to. . I had called back to let the service dept know and the representative who I delt with on the phone who gave me those original prices was damn disrespectful. Interrupting what I had to say, repeating that the problem was fixed and that he had a hard time believing it still pulled to the right. Basically told me he couldn't do anything. Actually even hung up on me. Been back to the Service dept twice since then to number on speak with the Rep who I delt with about why my slip says that there are "no concerns after repair". It was clear that no one drove my truck to test the brakes and see if It still pulled to the right. If they did, the pulling was immediate and constant. Something no professional mechanic could miss. Further more, come to find out bringing my truck to someone else, the shaking and pulling was due to a bad front driver-side tire. Huge bubble which was clearly evident . How a mechanic who had to take the wheel off the truck to do the repairs could miss that Im not sure. The second time I went back was to see the acting service manager. Who I was told was in shop until 5 each day. That day however, his departure was 4pm to add insult to injury he was being assigned to the Mazda shop with a new service manager coming in on Monday for the Ford shop. I actually wouldn't recommended the Tasca service shop to anyone for anything, unless that is you have money to waste. I however, do not. Huge realization on just how much dealers can rip you off without blinking.
