You will NOT be satisfied!!! When you walk into their showroom in Cranston RI, it is very impressive, but that's all it is... it's for show with zero substance & zero honesty! We bought a used Subaru Outback Limited (VIN# 4S4BRBJC9B3381220) back in early February 2014. We dealt with Wes Pilon (salesman) and Matt Cabral (manager). We negotiated the price of the vehicle at $20,800, inclusive of all taxes, fees, etc. In our excitement that we had purchased this vehicle, and in our naïveté (believing handshakes with the manager & salesman on the price meant that they would honor the agreed price), we were duped on the final contract price. We signed the contract not paying attention since we thought we were dealing with honest people. The final price came out to a few dollars shy of 21K. It took Tasca over 2-1/2 weeks to prepare the documentation because they were having problems getting the title (according to them). We had to call 4-5 times before anyone got back to us to explain the unreasonable delay in preparing the paperwork. They have our money at this point so who cares about the customer, right??? When we finally went to pick up the Outback, it was full of scratches, especially heavy on the drivers side, front to back!!! When asked what had happened, we were told by Wes that it must of been the snow plow (that scratched both sides?!?!?!?!?). What's even funnier is that according to them, the car was parked in the same spot since we had purchased it, snugly placed between 2 other cars in their front lot, impossible for any plow to get between cars. Did I forget to mention that it hadn't snowed since we bought the car? In my opinion, they concealed the scratches with matching wax and eventually, that wax evaporates revealing the damage. They offered us to paint the car and be on our way. We refused for the following reasons: -Because of the ethical reasons of being duped in price and in product!!! -A 3 year old (body shop) painted car intrinsically has less value since it's damaged!!! -Because this whole transaction was (borderline?) fraudulent from the beginning!!! -Because they didn't seem to care about their clients, only their wallets. It is June now and we are still dealing with issues. The city sent us the excise taxes to pay on a car we never owned since the sale was cancelled. We contacted Eva Bickford in their finance department to issue a letter stating the cancelation of the purchase, as we were asked to do from the DMV. Sent 2 emails and left 2 voice messages, have yet to hear back from her (almost 2 month now!!!). If you are looking for dishonest, nonchalant charlatans, this is the place for you!!!! I would strongly advise against buying a car at Tasca. This has been on ongoing nightmare for us for over 4 months now... Unfortunately they propagate the pre-conceived notions of sleazy used car sales dealers. We bought a car last summer at a much smaller dealer which was smooth and without incident. The Tasca folks are too big for their bridges and not small enough to care about their clients. Maybe the staff there needs to read their slogan more often? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
