This is in regard to a Sales Department experience. I came to buy a Mazda CX-5 from this dealer and asked for a manager to deal with because I had to walk on 2 prior deals at other dealers due to promises not kept recently. So Bernie, the Sales Manager, was great to deal with, very congenial and fair. He passed me off to a salesman Todd who seemed professional at the time. But once the loan dept had my money, I got dumped like a sack of potatoes. I was told the extra side rail would be installed the next day and Todd would drive 30 minutes to deliver the car to me. I questioned whether that was enough time to check out the car in full beforehand and todd said it was. So the next day, no promised phone call at 9:30 and a run around not getting me the final figure to purchase the rails. It never happened so at 3:30 pm I called Bernie who finished the final figure and sent the car to have it installed that night. So the next day I get a text from Todd "Are you home"? So he ran the car down to me with another driver, hopped out and before I could say anything he asked where a good place for lunch was. He was supposed to show me the systems and go through the list on my Mazda book so I know how to use everything. He hopped in the other car and drove away. Besides never getting the service I was supposed to upon delivery, since then the 4 times I have driven the car it turns out to be a LEMON. The first day the rear door hatch would not work either from the inside button or outside with the fob. I had to manually open it after trying 10 times. Then the next trip the voice command refused to work...2 times out of 12 button pushes it worked. Last night I am driving home and got a warning the front sensor is non-functional so I had no driver assist for the trip. Three systems not functional and unreliable in one week! The vehicle was never road tested either before delivery to check out the systems according to the check list I was given. This is unheard of, unprofessional, cutting corners and mandatory for an agency to do before delivery!!!! I am returning this lemon and hope I get a better salesperson who is conscientious and does his job next time instead of being more concerned about running back to get the next sale or having lunch instead of reviewing the car with me. He wants me to arrange an appointment to drive the hour round trip so when it is convenient for him he will take a few minutes to show me how to set up the car with my phone. I am bringing this defective car back....extremely disappointed in the moto "You will be satisfied" which is far from the truth in my case.
