Key public-record excerpts

First, I asked if the car had been serviced. He said yes, but when when I wanted to pick up the vehicle, he said it had to go in for servicing.
It was a GMC and not a Ford so he said they could not provide one. Later, the sales manager said it could and provided one.
All of this was taken care of with out cost.

Sales v. service I just recently bought a used 2009 vehicle. I tend to make it quite easy on the sales folks, meaning I know what I want, what I am willing to spend and what I want for my trade in. If we can not reach a deal really quickly, I walk away. So the sales person does not really have a lot to do, it will mainly fall to the sales manager and the finance person. There are a few questions I do expect to have answered from the sales person (was the car inspected and serviced) and things you want to see like the carfax. In my case, the sales guy appeared to be a bit confused and gave some mixed answers. First, I asked if the car had been serviced. He said yes, but when when I wanted to pick up the vehicle, he said it had to go in for servicing. I asked the vehicle could get an extended warranty. It was a GMC and not a Ford so he said they could not provide one. Later, the sales manager said it could and provided one. So all in all, the sales person was a little weak, but a nice guy. He did get a bit preoccupied with insurance which I found annoying. The finance manager was excellent and took care of everything. We looked through all of the paper work together and made sure it was all agreeable to everyone. It was a great experience. After I picked up the car and had it for a day, there were a couple of things that became noticeable. I took it in to the service department. I was a little concerned due to the previous comments. I turned my vehicle in with one of the service managers. He took the vehicle in and got back to me within a couple of hours. They agreed that the items i pointed out needed to be fixed and had identified some additional things that needed to be addressed. All parts were ordered and we were scheduled to come back for the repairs. All of this was taken care of with out cost. So all in all, I would recommend Tasca.
